Community Service Project

Join the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and the NWA MLK Council at Cooperative Emergency Outreach Inc (CEO) at 1649 East Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, AR 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Volunteers are welcome and needed.

We ask the community to donate canned goods and other items and bring the items to CEO on Saturday, January 18th from 9:00 am to 12 noon.

4.  On January 18th, the Volunteers will receive the donations and sort them at CEO.

5.   Volunteers will fill the shelves or designated area with the donated items. 

6.  We will have different volunteers coming in at different time slots from 9:00 am to 12 noon. 

7.  Please refer to the list of items below that we ask your group and the community to donate:

Collection Items Needed:

  • FOOD ITEMS

     

    • jars of peanut butter (16-18 oz)

    • canned chicken & tuna 

    • chunky soup & chili (reg. size)

    • canned fruit (reg. size cans, not cups)

    • canned vegetables (reg. size mixed veg., peas, carrots)

    • canned beans (reg. size pinto beans, pork & beans)

    • boxes of crackers (saltines/Ritz type, packaged in sleeves)

    • canned pasta with meat (like Chef Boyardee)

    • brownie mix

    • small cans of Beanee Weenees, pork & beans, chili (for homeless)

     

     

    OTHER ITEMS

     

    • toilet paper

    • shampoo

    • bars of soap

    • feminine hygiene products

    • liquid dish soap 

    • detergent pods for washing clothing

    • baby diapers (sizes 4 & 5)
