Community Service Project
Join us on Saturday, January 18th fThe Northwest Arkansas MLK Council and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will hold the Annual Community Wide MLK Service Project at the Cooperative Emergency Outreach Inc (CEO) at 1649 East Huntsville Road, Fayetteville, AR.
On 6 December 2024, CEO starts its 35th year of serving the people of Washington County. The organization was founded to coordinate, organize, and manage the delivery of food and support for people facing emergency situations, such as job loss, death in the family, natural disasters, etc. CEO provides help with rent, utilities, food, clothing, and prescriptions. We typically serve almost 12,0000 people each year and distribute about $250,000 in direct support plus food valued at about $300,000.
CEO is an all-volunteer charity sponsored by 22 churches in Washington County. Member churches furnish about 60 percent of CEO resources, the rest comes from memorials, benefactors, gifts, and grants. Click here for details.
